- Schedule patients in SIS - checking benefits and obtaining authorization - Call patients and discuss OON billing process and any money due if applicable. - Be sure to get H&P, orders and LABS/Covid test results for patients- Make charts for nurses to pre-op- Answer phones- Make packets for charts- Make folders for doctors offices/deliver to offices- Check mail - Deposit checks/run credit card payments from mail - Check in patients and take payments- Create daily batches and post payments - Break down all charts after procedures - Pull dictations from MedTek and complete any blanks or discrepancies - Put them in order and audit them - Get all necessary dates and initials/ signatures from staff and physicians and have nurses complete all necessary documentation - Scan in for billing - Fix any chart discrepancies - Final AUDIT charts are complete scan into SIS- Created processes and currently implementing for all ordering: including creating and tracking Purchase orders, three way match of PO’s, packing slips and invoices. - Requesting anything missing for 3 way matching and all W9’s- Maintaining and Ordering of all office supplies- All credentialing responsibilities including working all new applications, requesting any missing documentation. - Work with provider to get all expiring documentation from all credentialed providers- Audit Silversheet and send out emails weekly of upcoming expirations. - Monitor and upload all updated documents sent to me from offices. - Make calls for education and hospital affiliations unable to do online.- Get health clearance forms, bylaw forms and orientation forms completed and signed for all providers and scanned into Silversheet. - Set up MedTrainer for employees, assign and monitor for completion. - Assist with completing insurance applications- Various tasks, assist with whatever is asked including ordering signage, putting logos on or creating logs/forms, assist with key metrics etc.
