• Maintained and operated over a dozen novel suspended microchannel resonator (SMR) device systems to measure individual cell mass from cancer patients for precision medicine• Managed and repaired the laboratory systems, taking the lead on troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing fluidic, electronic, and motorized components• Scaled up the number of laboratory systems, doubling the number of next gen systems within the lab and improving the throughput and quality of returned clinical results• Developed multi-modal imaging capabilities to measure cell volume and density, yielding additional features for analysis and accuracy, alongside MIT researchers• Planned, tested, and analyzed a variety of procedural and mechanical improvements to increase yield and throughput of the systems to boost measurement confidence • Presented technical reports of R&D projects to the company and advisors, discussing results of data collection and making suggestions to further improve system design• Lead company-wide reading groups and discussions on cutting edge AI methods and analysis tools to integrate into the project pipeline• Implemented CLIA-approved SOPs for lab-wide use to improve laboratory workflow and streamline functionality and maintenance of the laboratory systems • Assisted with standard laboratory tasks like cell passage, biohazard disposal, and reagent management, maintaining sterile technique, lab safety, and documentation as required
