Mountain Camp is a co-ed summer overnight camp offering a variety of activities emphasizing on outdoor adventure, personal growth, and community building for campers entering grade 2nd to 12th.• Led four different cabins of 10-13 campers across six weeks, providing around-the-clock care and ensuring smooth transitions between activities• Expertly instructed campers on guitar and windsurfing, delivering compassionate support and maintaining active engagement along the way• Managed challenging situations, including addressing food sensitivities and emotional distress in campers, as well as resolving conflicts among campers through individual discussions, learning to calmly address situations and offer empathy during difficult moments• Stepped outside of my comfort zone by sustaining a high energy level to inspire and engage campers and dressing up to perform in the evening program • Cultivated flexibility and the ability to adapt to last minute changes with composure, enhancing my capability to handle dynamic situationsAs one of the only three Asian counselors, I learned to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
