Part of the International Customer Services Team delivering dedicated pre- and after- sales support to Occlutech's global network of sales companies and distributors.Occlutech, founded in 2003, is a rapidly expanding European company specializing in developing and manufacturing cardiac occlusion devices and other vascular implants.

• First point of contact for providing global customer and sales support to more than 20 sales and service companies and more than 75 distributors• Manage and assign incoming support requests registered in the Global Help Desk to International Product Specialists and International Service Engineers across multi-disciplinary Technology Teams (NIR & Software/Network; Chemical Analysis; FC/IR/X-Ray; and Process), comprising 36 colleagues• Receive and direct incoming phone calls to the Global Help Desk with urgent support requests to the most suitable and available specialist• Maintaining Customer & Sales Support documentation required for routine operation of the department, including - Departmental “Who is Who” with areas of responsibility - Discontinued Products, Spare Parts and SupportAchievements• Develop the roll of Support Co-ordinator• Create a Support Guide for support case requirements• Independently resolve support cases or requests wherever possible, using own accumulated skills and experience in FOSS instrumentation, SW and networking solutions, applications and company processes - 583 resolved support cases from a total of 5,794 resolved support cases, Feb 2011 to Jan 2012 inclusive (Av. first response time, 1 hr; Av. support case resolution time, 8 days)• Provide key support for Technology Teams - Create/update documentation (Technical Notes, Application Notes, Preventive Maintenance Protocols) - Expedite FOSS processes (Engineering Change Management, sales release of spare parts, reagent and instrument certificates) - Liaise with Sales & Marketing (specific market-related issues) - Liaise with Product & Supply Chain and Group Quality (product quality issues)
