Working as an integral part of the small fundraising team, my role is predominantly to raise money and that includes managing and creating new corporate relationships, the stewardship of donors, supporting the community in fundraising activities and organising fundraising events. I give talks on Guild Care to encourage people to support the charity via fundraising or volunteering and to raise awareness of the work the charity does.I actively seek new fundraising activities and opportunities and have been successful and creative in securing new supporters, maintaining relationships with existing supporters and creating new fundraising events. During my 4 ½ years at Guild Care I have proved flexible and willing to support other teams where necessary as well as supporting my colleagues or working independently. I am a good communicator, administrator and used to managing a varied workload whilst still being able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines and targets.I have successfully managed large fundraising events, utilising my organisational skills, attention to detail and my ability to build and maintain successful relationship in both the community and the corporate world.

Key Role and achievementsResponsible for the delivery and collection functions of Brighton Delivery Office. Management and development of a team of 11 Managers and 350 frontline operators.Accountability for the health, safety and security and reduction of accidents in the workplace.Customer Satisfaction and Quality of service continuous improvement.Major transformation projects managed and implemented with success. Overall responsibility for the building, the fleet of 47 vehicles and an operational budget of 7 million pounds.Influencing and cultivating strong relationships with the Communication Workers Union for success.
