• Investigated bio-molecular structure by using NMR spectroscopy, FTIR, and HPLC/UPLC for product samples, for the purpose of synthetic catalysts characterization and reaction kinetics evaluation. • Utilized various separation methodologies that helped understand new biomaterials properties and byproducts partitioning.• Tested sample reactivity with other catalysts to improve product yield and efficiency. This work resulted in new biomaterials able to deliver higher potential greener chemistry and performance efficiency for this field.
