CLIENT: ONTARIO TEACHERS’ PENSION PLAN (OTPP)OTPP is Canada's largest single-profession pension plan that invests and administers the pensions for 331,000 teachers in Ontario. In this role I supported multiple agile teams to deliver a planned multiyear legacy migration.- Successfully helped lead multiple teams to deliver the legacy migration on time and on budget. This consisted in leading up to 2 teams of 10-12 people and managing the budget.- Built a strong self-organizing team through effective coaching, facilitation of key agile ceremonies (and socials) and setting an example of respectful communication to create a positive environment and bond- Earned stakeholders trust through clear and transparent status updates and regularly updated reports on KPIs throughout the project- Gained additional work that allowed for the creation of new teams and the opportunity to engage with new areas of the client’s business - Managed the JIRA backlog to ensure project delivery matched client’s expectations, testing milestones and release schedule- Introduced and transitioned the team to Kanban for support and maintenance. This included developing policies, determining WIP limits and providing metrics - Generated multiple scenarios with different resource allocations to achieve the project target- Planned a smooth transition of a large team to new projects as the multi-year project was ending- Provided bi-yearly reviews for the team members- Onboarded new team members by providing an introduction to pensions, the client’s business and the relevant software

Longbeard Creative is a digital strategy and design agency that is aimed at supporting nonprofits, religious groups and humanitarian causes to reach their full potential. Founded the technical aspects of the company (CMS, infrastructure, etc).- Created a low cost investment and a quick time to market for our clients by establishing Wordpress as our CMS of choice.- Migrated 10,000+ articles for www.cruxnow.com to use Wordpress. This also involved creating a new engaging design for the website.- Developed partnership with a web service provider to provide effective managed hosting for www.cruxnow.com. Took a journey through parts of the United States. Went camping at the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands and South Coyote Buttes. Explored San Jose, Las Vegas, Albuquerque and Dallas. Met a whole new world in Italy. Attended a 1-week conference that was titled “Maps of the Future: Where, when, and how does tomorrow begin?” and it brought people from all over the world. Learned about how people live all over and different perspectives on life. Afterwards, wandered through the history of the cities (Florence, Rome, Venice, Cortina D'Ampezzo).Made friends in Costa Rica. Volunteered on construction projects in rural areas of the country. Aided in a senior citizens home for those that were abandoned in various countries through Central America. In the same day we watched the sunrise on the Atlantic coast and the Sunset on the Pacific coast. Adventured through the rainforest, viewed the volcanoes and tried to surf.Honed my photography skills.

The Note Hub was started by four of us in hopes of creating a network that revolved around note sharing. It allowed students to upload their notes and to share them with others, either for free or at a cost. The website managed to get off the ground, but because of various factors (markets share, the ethics of note sharing, etc) we decided that the market was not lucrative enough and decided to withdraw. Ultimately our archive was sold to a competitor.- Developed, implemented and maintained the Note Hub website- Integrated with third party APIs- Created automated scripts to bulk upload documents- Documented and maintained all technical documents- Analyzed the needs and expectations of the business in order to create a positive project outcome
