• Visited different primary schools during the term to provide monitoring and mentoring support for teachers and modeling good Jolly Phonics teaching In the schools in Cross River State.• Attended, assisted, supervised and participated in various project related training events.• Coordinated and supervised the activities of the Teacher Leaders Network Meeting (TLNM) in the various government primary schools in the state.• Participated and conducted different Baseline and Endline assessments of pupils in selected primary schools; collated the data for research and data analysis for decision making and future implementation of the project.• Conducted regular coordinated monitoring exercise to ascertain pupil’s learning ability and collated the data for analysis to enhance teacher’s improvement in teaching of the subject and pupil’s performance.• Liaised closely with the Academics, SUBEB, and officials of the state ministry of education to ensure that all parties involved carry out their activities and responsibilities effectively.• Set up a Jolly Phonics hotline that teachers could call for feedback, advice and provision of support to enhance their activities and also ensure phone-based mentoring for the teachers.• Made relevant suggestions to the organization and the Academics for possible intervention in response to observed issues in the schools.• Facilitated good communication network between SUBEB, Academics, officials of the state ministry of education and other relevant parties involved in the project and updating them on the progress and development of the project.
