Inspection Co-OrdinatorOrca Jul 1984 - May 1986Involved in the first Ninian South Brace Repair based on the DSV Wilchief (now Alliance) which was brand new at the time (1984). Carried out Subsea Inspection works at Claymore Alpha. Helped to write (in conjunction with a number of colleagues) a Subsea Inspection Manual that was subsequently published and is still used today by a number of companies.Seconded to Britoil (now part of BP) where I worked on a Subsea Inspection Database which was an early attempt to use Computers to gather Inspection records for Subsea Inspection programs. It was based on an HP Mainframe computer.
