Accounting and finance encompass everything that I enjoy. Researching different ways to make and manage money is very fulfilling and enjoyable.When it comes to my experiences and skills, I have been a part of the finance cluster for DECA, taking part in different thinking and designing related projects like writing a professional book, an invention convention, and the future city competition. I have also worked in retail, coaching-related jobs and have held managerial positions. When it comes to experience outside of work, I have also invested in NFT, stocks, and a few crypto miners. These experiences, and risks that I have taken, have helped build my overall confidence, teamwork, and innovative skills. They have also helped me gain a new interest in business and finance while also helping create new skills that I can bring to a company. This interest in business resulted in me getting accepted into the UTSC Co-op BBA program.I also have achievements in my fields. Not only did I make it to provincials for my DECA competition, but I also achieved many academic excellence awards and also received a merit medal for my UCMAS math competitions. I also had my book published in my grade 8 class. Additionally, my group had one of the best projects for the invention convention and future city competitions, so we had the privilege of presenting our project to Ontario Tech University. Some essential skills I bring to this role include:Advanced Communication: I worked with a variety of different age groups in my Karate and retail jobs. Being an active listener and being fluent in three other languages is a precious asset.Teamwork/Team management: Worked as a manager and have volunteered at the local Temple. I worked with a variety of teams and have managed a few.Adaptability: Self-motivated and have extensive knowledge using online platforms as Google meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Office 365. Available and willing to work at any time.My skills, training and plethora of work experience will be a valuable addition to your finance team.
