As Emotional Well-being Coordinator I partner with families to enhance their child's physical, social, emotional and educational development. I support families in building positive, caregiving relationships with their children while honoring each family's home culture, language and self-identified needs. Additionally, as Emotional Well-Being Coordinator I provide educational and support services to enrolled families with children and staff members with the support of a Supervising LCSW and the Administrative Team.

I support elementary school educators in revamping their classroom libraries and restructuring curriculum so that marginalized voices are accurately represented.

As the HR Talent Associate I play a critical role at Friends Center for Children. I am responsible for overseeing major human resources functions within the organization, including but not limited to recruitment, orientation, career development, benefits management, succession planning, compensation. I partner with our executive team in the development and implementation of policies and procedures foraccomplishing human resources goals and objectives. Our high quality educators are at the heartof our work, and I help us to sustainably grow our staff as we open newsites.

As a values-based program, Friends Center for Children strives to maintain best practices in early childhood education by nurturing the whole child and bringing together curriculum, teachers, parents and the larger community within a supportive, inspirational environment.

I oversee the recruitment, evaluation and admissions process for students entering grades JK-5th grade.

Formerly the head teacher of one of the fourth-grade classrooms at RCDS. I worked with the faculty and staff to ensure the curriculum presented to the students supported the different learning styles within the classroom and was also helpful for them as they move forward with their education.

As the Lower School Diversity Coordinator, I worked to organize programs, events, and curriculum that create a welcoming and inclusive campus environment for all students at Rye Country Day. The mission of the events and programs are to address issues of diversity on campus, promote an awareness and understanding of diversity, and to begin a permanent series of programming that further enriches the appreciation of diversity at Rye Country Day.
