• Work with the SPU ASSP Vice President of Intercultural Affairs to oversee the activities of Catalyst, the Intercultural Initiatives Committee, which has a group of three student programmers that work together to address issues of race, ethnicity, and justice through: discussion of important campus and community issues or concerns, collaborative programming, and support of campus events• Facilitate operational details for Catalyst activities, including but not limited to: logistics, budget, supplies, training materials and Catalyst resource manuals to ensure the team can be successful and serve the SPU student body well• Recruit, select, and prepare the SPU students attending a national conference focusing on diversity and reconciliation, such as SCORR (Biola's Student Congress on Racial Reconciliation); Coordinate the transportation, activities and finances for the delegation to this conference, and lead in planning and implementing follow-up activities including a conference debrief and activity or event, applying what students learned at the conference.•Assist the VPIA and Catalyst Event Programmer to plan a retreat for SPU students that encourages intercultural relationships as well as discussions about race, diversity, culture and reconciliation

• Assist in the research, design, and implementation for various student programs• Assist with student leadership recruitment plan and support the execution of calendar of events for GV • Review and understand GV’s student application and selection process, making edits and revisions when necessary • Update and maintain data entry and prospective applicant database and GV campaigns (SalesForce, Microsoft Excel) and support staff in other administrative tasks as needed
