My duties involved managing sensitive data such as prescriptions and using spreadsheet software to calculate the firm's costs. I also helped in managing inventory where I learned the differences between different medications and how they should be arranged or stored. The most important skill I developed as a result of this co-op placement is my communication skills as my work included me to communicate due to the necessity of efficiency in the workplace when it comes to dealing with medications. Some key skills I developed were data management and space management. Another crucial skill I developed from this placement was my ability to focus on Attention To Detail as most of the medications came in similar boxes, and some had similar names. This skill helped me differentiate between the medications which helped in arranging them and ensuring that the customer doesn't get the wrong medications.
