A fervent storyteller, the endless pursuit of increasing and sharing my knowledge about culture and the environment has led me to work for some of the country's most-read publications such as National Geographic and The Hill. The versatility in my writing ability has also allowed me to freelance for publications as wide-ranging as The Washington Post and Thrillist to Men's Journal and Women's Health on the topics of food, drink, luxury travel, and technological innovation. Soon after graduating from American University with my BA in Communication Studies and with minors in Environmental Science and International Relations I started my career as a comms assistant in the PR office of Nat Geo Channel, quickly rising to become a project manager owning some of NG's biggest editorial priorities such as The Race Issue and Planet or Plastic. I moved up to New York City to step further outside of my comfort zone and now work full-time for Changing America, providing in-depth reporting on important topics such as social justice, diversity & inclusion, and inequality in its many forms. I look forward to whatever stories the future has yet to bring, and the inspiring LinkedIn contacts I'll hopefully make having taken the time to write this summary.
