As the Lead Population Health Analyst, I oversee the end-to-end delivery of a quantitative needs analysis for the Victorian Suicide Prevention Service and the System Analysis report prepared for the Victorian Suicide Prevention and Response Office (Department of Health). I gather, interpret, and analyse system-level and population-based epidemiological data related to suicide, producing a detailed technical report and supplementary data file that translates complex health information into actionable insights for decision-makers and stakeholders. Additionally, I conduct literature and desktop reviews to ensure our work incorporates current and emerging best practices and governance frameworks in suicide prevention and response. In doing this, I work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure our analyses meet the needs of various stakeholders, and meet the project's aims and objectives within the established time and scope.
