Trusted with the responsibility to design the audit process flow for implementing partners and developed partner’s audit guidelines for VSO. Assisted finance coordinator- Grant management, in preparation and revision of budget of partners and VSO Country Office. Routine task included monthly budget and bank reconciliation, payroll management of staff, liaising with external auditors. analyzing the revenue and expenditure of a business. preparing profit and loss statements, accounting reports and month end preparation. Key results: Booked periodic expenditure of individual partners in SUN Accounting System, verified account receivable and payable and fixed-asset accounting in accordance with GAAP standards in timely manner meeting reporting deadlines. Audited and Revamped G/L, financial systems, reports and schedules to improve forecast precision and standardize reporting formats and procedures. Uncovered a major non-compliance of tax laws by partner and provided guidance on immediate corrective actions. Designed and implemented robust reporting formats for partner in Microsoft excel which helped VSO achieve more accurate reports with less effort. Played a pivotal role in conducting Internal audit as an internal audit team member.  Gained experience of working with international finance/audit team from VSO UK.
