The Shift Technical Advisor is responsible forproviding the technical expertise to understandthe approved safety basis for operations of thefacility and to evaluate the impact of proposedchanges/modifications on the safe operation ofthe facility.Responsible for :Serving as primary support team member toensure daily operations are safe, effective, andperformed in accordance with approvedprocedures.Interfacing with support organizations tounderstand planned operations within thefacility and ensure activities are in compliancewith facility safety basis authorized work.Performing troubleshooting and improvementactivities for emerging issues within theoperations management scope of responsibilityto resolve issues and improve effectiveness inimplementation of compliance requirements.Serving in a project management role asneeded for coordination of large, cross-cuttingactivities within the facility that involve multipleinterfaces that cross organizational lines.Presenting technical briefings or presentations,as required, that describe and explain approvedfacility operations and complianceimplementation methods.Evaluating proposed modifications or changesagainst the approved Documented SafetyAnalysis via the Unreviewed Safety Question.Determination process to ensure changes arewithin the scope and methods appropriate forthe facility.

In this role, I was overseeing radioactive material and waste, while streamlining onboarding operations of boat through the highest level of diligence. One of my key duty was managing chemistry control for reactor and steam plants, including maintenance of equipment, supplies, and performance of chemistry samples in compliance with Naval reactors regulations. I was also offering exceptional technical services for reactor laboratories on a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.Selected accomplishments for this role are:• Trained research and gathered/analyzed 6000+ samples to ensure safe operations of reactors in line with Naval Reactor regulations with zero violations or accidents.• Managed day-to-day activities of five technicians for the accurate accounting of exposure of 700+ personnel, as Dosimetry Supervisor.• Improved daily performance of hundreds of drill scenarios on all reactor plant and machinery room watch standers, as well as forwarded reports showing expected actions, plant conditions, and drill initiation, while acting as Reactor Laboratories Drill Team Manager.• Headed and mentored 21 personnel for improving 6000+ radiological equipment required for operation of reactor plants as Reactor Laboratories 3M and Calibration Manager.
