I run fill, pack, and warp studies in Moldflow. I also present out the results to our customers.

I function as a process engineer launching new tools for various automotive programs. I work to provide a successful launch, and troubleshoot processing issues as needed.

This is the final rotation of my XRP Rotational Program experience at YFAI. I worked with another product engineer to ensure that we received the correct door panels for Production Validation Testing. I also worked with our product engineers and validation team to ensure that testing was being completed correctly and on time in order to meet our customer's expectations. I also worked with our product engineers to root cause any issues we saw from testing and worked to implement fixes.

The second of my rotations as part of the XRP Rotational Program at YFAI. I worked on an Instrument Panel Program launch in South Carolina. I worked with another AME to launch a robotic glue system into the plant. I worked with the supplier for support and training of all plant personnel on operation and maintenance of the equipment. Through minimizing our glue usage we were able to see a cost savings of over $100,000.

This is the first of my rotations as part of the XRP Rotational Program at YFAI. I completed 6 months working as a plant process engineer and technician focusing on troubleshooting process issues as they came up.

I do mold preparation, insert changes, and mold changeovers. I also set up and keep the injection machines running proper parts. Along with that a part of my job is trimming parts, grinding up the scrap ones, and helping to keep the injection molding area clean.

I worked on 2 major projects while an intern. 1. Proving out that limit settings on an Edart can provide a stable process and consistent parts. 2. Running barrel capacity studies with polypropylene to prove out that for a specialized process we can run at the low end of barrel capacity (3-7%) and still have consistent, quality approved parts.
