In May 2020, I began my professional career as an HR intern/clerk at SYKES Enterprises, a global BPO company based in Tampa, Fl in their newly formed Project Management Office. I had the opportunity to work with global HRST leadership across multiple HR fields on projects ranging from optimizing performance measurement metrics and reporting procedures, establishing Continuity of Business plans during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and leading small projects focused on optimization of various HR processes.Since then, I served as a Human Resources Generalist for Apexon, a business process outsourcing company with US operations based in the Metro Detroit Area. During my time there, I gained broad experiences ranging from benefits/leave administration, onboarding/orientation activities, account management support, and administrative support. Currently, I am happily serving as a Human Resources Generalist and Recruiter on a wonderful team at EMS Management & Consultants, a medical billing company based in North Carolina. My responsibilities are ever-changing, but range from recruiting and onboarding, orientation activities, employee/candidate experience, and general administrative support across all areas of HR.
