Directly responsible for the assembly of hay combine mergers. To include the assembly of the physical finger bar merger aspect of the merger assembly and the hydraulic lines of the merger machine.Operate Forklift and roof mounted crane to move empty frame and completed merger frames around the plant to be furthered improved or completed.Build sub-assembly parts for the merger conveyor machine.Involved in Stage 2 area of mergers which involves taking completed conveyors and mounting them to a merger main frame. Upon mounting completed conveyors to the merger main frame you then connect all hydraulic tubes, hoses, electrical wiring and grease fittings to complete the merger. Once all conveyors are successfully connected to the merger main frame you then run the machine for 15 minutes to insure the merger functions properly and as it's supposed. If the merger functions without any issues it is then removed from assembly area and parked until it is shipped to it's sellers destination.Complete Conveyor and Merger Assembly Checklist to ensure all steps have been properly completed.Conduct monthly safety inspections on assigned area to ensure all safety requirements are being followed and all discrepancies from the previous month were corrected. Train new employees in Merger Area.
