Hello, I spent 9 years in the United States Navy and have enjoyed every moment of it. I could not be happier with the education and certifications the Navy has provided me. I started off my navy career as a navy nuclear engineer by going into Charleston, SC for electronics technician school where I received my education in electrical dynamics, digital media (bit code), and Instrumentation and control equipment. I moved onto nuclear power school where I received my education in reactor dynamics, heat transfer and fluid flow, and reactor physics/operations. After spending two years down there receiving my education on Nuclear power and electrical fundamentals , I went on to an aircraft carrier out of Bremerton, Washington where I spent 4 years applying my education to operate and maintain two nuclear power plants. Here i became a technical specialist in reactor controls and instrumentation equipment. After about a year in a half I became the training division manager and managed all qualifications and training for 65 personnel. Once I finished that up and led our department to receive a 98% on Naval reactors operational examination, i became the operations technical manager for my division and managed a group of 10 experienced personnel to conduct all major maintenance evolutions reactor controls division was required to accomplish. My last journey in the Navy was moving to North Idaho to become a navy talent acquisition specialist. I have spent 2 plus years becoming a sales representative for the navy and found out one of my strongest abilities is to work with people and be a great public speaker. in the year 2021 i was the Nuke recruiter of the year for the entire pacific northwest. From there I have done sales for an MRO company company called Tifco where I excelled in creating new accounts and establishing lasting relationships. I left Tifco to join one of my clients called Equipmentshare to be their parts manager. I am looking forward to my next opportunities and I believe this professional profile can help lead me the next field i can become a technical expert in.
