Austin is a self-described, urban cowboy. Growing up in the Midwest, he adopted a deep commitment to both his family and faith. Standing on those two pillars, he journeyed to New York where he studied Drama at NYU Tisch on scholarship. An actor by nature, he is deeply inquisitive about the human condition and believes in the power of empathy cultivated through its reflection in art. He is a strong advocate for queer representation and dreams of making history as the first openly gay man to win an Oscar in an acting category (or play the first openly gay James Bond- whichever comes first). In the meantime, he shares his story in efforts to bridge the large cultural gap between faith and sexuality, and ardently acts in service of love above all.
