I am fueled by the opportunity to change the future for the better and leave a lasting impact on the world, one day and one small scale change at a time. I began my career with Moss Adams LLP, a top 15 public accounting firm in the US, as an Associate in the Business Assurance department in San Diego, CA. With a passion for all things sustainability, I also served as the office’s sustainability champion where I developed content for a monthly sustainability article and spearheaded an effort to switch to reusable cups, saving 10,000 paper cups from being used and saving the office hundreds of dollars annually. As an alumnus of Point Loma Nazarene University, graduating magna cum laude, with double majors in accounting and finance, I have gained a depth of knowledge in a variety of areas through quality education, past employment, and activities that fulfill my personal growth. Prior to working for Moss Adams, I was contracted to serve as the accounting consultant for a San Diego, CA based mobile and web technology start-up, which targeted the real estate and veterinary professional demographic. Additionally I worked for San Diego based fast food chain Jack in the Box, spending a year and a half working in their Real Estate Assets and Lease Accounting groups. For two years as an undergraduate, I served as the President of PLNU's social entrepreneurship club, which came with the opportunity to host networking events and mentor high school students through Junior Achievement's Company Program. Additionally, I served as a Senior Student Senator, acting Chair of the Sustainability Committee, and Student Advisor to the PLNU Sustainability Advisory Board. I also have had the pleasure of serving as youth advisor to the board of directors of 1 to 1 movement, a San Diego NFP which was later acquired by The Ecology Center.
