Worked on the CDC BE1 Data Centre Project for 7 months as Project Engineer for Hindmarsh, reporting to the Project Manger and Project Director. During my tenure oversaw the extensive Civil works which included navigating adverse site conditions (rock up to 20,000MPa) on a project that demanded on time delivery. The project had an extensive and complex in ground services package as well as a significant cut/fill site spanning 14,000m2. Helped manage the compliance and safe execution of detailed CEMP due to the site being a contaminated brownfield site. Oversaw structural works including piled shoring walls, structural foundations, ground slab, precast design and delivery, tower crane and concert pump installations, as well as initial suspended slab works. Involved with programming, detail design and monthly meetings with client and internal senior management.

Working in the Fit Out and Refurbishment Division, during my tenure, project Manager for 3 projects start to finish and a lengthy pre construction phase for an insurance remediation project for a large strata apartment complex. An approximate value of $16 million managed over that time. Project's varied from façade & roof remediation projects in an occupied, prominent building on the Kingston Foreshore, a remote Federal Government School COLA project on Norfolk Island as well as a 5 Storey 'de-fit' and base building upgrade in a prominent 11-storey office building in Canberra City. Quickly established great relationships with all stakeholders, delivering successful project outcomes be it ahead of schedule, minimal defects, and/or incident-free.

Reported directly to the VP of Construction, solely managing multiple projects with a combined portfolio value of CAD$26 million. Responsible and accountable for all project contracts, change management, QA/QC, budgeting/finances, procurement, logistics and scheduling. All projects were located in remote parts of the Canadian Arctic (Yukon, Nunavut & Northwest Territories). The majority of projects were only accessible via plane or boat in one of the most remote and inhospitable regions on the planet, with temperatures ranging from -60 to +20 degrees celsius, 7-9 months with blizzards, snow and ice, and 2-3 months with no sunlight. Safety, logistics and construction in such environments presented considerable challenges and risks that needed to be overcome for successful project deliveryProject Management Lead for selection, setup, and implementation of new ERP software solution, Trimble Construction One (replacing Jonas). Working directly with CFO and 3rd party implementation company, working on the evaluation of different systems and their fit to business needs. Worked in depth on the setup and customisation of the software, ensuring interdepartmental needs were met and the system was set up for success. Developed training guides and company policies around the use of the software. With a successful launch in February 2022 Chaired Okotoks office yearend review meetings. Worked with the VP and other Senior Project Managers to develop and implement future goals, with the aim of bettering the company and employees. Successfully pitched and implemented 360 image capture devices and supporting software (HoloBuilder). Giving the remote Project Management team an 11-fold better vision of projects, increasing quality control oversight.Development of many other tools and systems that helped create greater insight into projects, and inturn improved forecasting and project delivery

Responsible and accountable for all project contracts, change management, QA/QC, budgeting/finances, procurement, logistics and scheduling. Involved with all estimating and tendering. Lead all Request for Prequalification (RFP) work, with 100% success in being shortlisted and receiving invitations to bid, many of these being for Government of Canada projects.Projects located in British Columbia & Alberta, the majority remote from Office location, requiring frequent travel and remote management. Government Canada contracts requiring RCMP FA2 security clearance and sensitive handling of project information. Fast-paced, aggressive schedules, usually with phased or partially occupied spaces. A small, start-up company with 800% growth over its first 3 years, I joined at the beginning of year 2 and was heavily involved in all business operation & development decisions, including HR, a new office complex to accommodate growth, and entering new markets. Successfully launched RCS in the British Columbia Market, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations to allow us to both bid and operate in the province. Founded new client and trade partnerships, resulting in a very successful tender/win ratio of 5/3 in the first 6 months of operations. Growth into a new market also tempered hits taken elsewhere due to the COVID-19 economic reaction.

Reported and second to General Manager (Owner), overseeing all construction activity for boutique General Contractor based in the UNESCO World Heritage Banff National Park, Alberta Canada. Working on approximately CAD$5-10 million of work annually, several small commercial fit-outs or residential projects annually and a couple hundred minor design-build or maintenance projects per year. Role worked with GM on all business development, trade, and client partnerships. Project scopes varied from Residential, Commercial, Joinery, Remedial and Fit Out, overseeing multiple projects with a team of 10-15 Carpenters/Apprentices reporting to the PM Role. In addition to project delivery, worked with the GM on all estimating/tenders and pre-construction. Once awarded solely managed procurement, schedules, quality assurance, safety compliance and client relationship. Implemented new contracts and systems, greatly improving the previous processes. Introduced the use of basic project scheduling and cost to complete projections for larger projects. Developed company marketing strategies & procedures, built and launched a new website utilising website building service Squarespace. Self-taught CAD LT to enhance and improve the in-house design of joinery and construction detailing which was previously done on paper.
