People often forget that it is those behind the scenes that keep the cogs of any operation running. As a laboratory technician, I pride myself in my ability to passionately and effectively contribute to the well-being of people’s everyday lives through my passion for science. Working at MilkTestNZ has seen me wearing multiple hats when it comes to the variety of roles I have taken on. From an “Inwards Goods Technician” to a “Laboratory Technician”, my ability to put emotions aside and focus on the task at hand allows me to rapidly learn new techniques and roles within the laboratory. This makes me a pivotal part of any laboratory environment.My friends and peers often refer to me as a “robot” for my uncanny ability to perform repetitive tasks reliably and without error, while remaining level-headed for any period of time. Others refer to me as a “sponge” for the amount of information I am able to absorb when learning a new task.
