Specialized in thin film technology and vacuum deposition systems. Completed a Master's degree in Engineering Physics with a focus on functional hard coatings and thin film devices such as solar cells, transistors, fiber optics, and display technologies. While attending McMaster University for my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I continuously worked as a lab assistant helping graduate students deposit and characterize thin films for various applications. This involved operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining several CVD and PVD systems, characterizing thin films using techniques such as SEM, XRD, and ellipsometry, as well as training new students in the basics of thin film deposition and vacuum deposition equipment. After graduating from McMaster, I worked for 2 years at SteelForme Design Inc. managing the PVD coatings department with a focus on developing and producing durable hard decorative coatings for the high-end food service industry.I am currently employed as a Test and Process Engineer at Angstrom Engineering Inc. which is an established international company with an excellent reputation for providing high-quality thin film deposition systems and unparalleled customer service.
