Austin relocated from the Midwest in 2019 to sunny Orlando, Florida where he began a full-time career at Barney’s Pumps, as an Application and Controls Engineer. Currently, Austin resides in Tampa working as an Automation Controls Engineer for Rockwell Automation. In this role he supports customers from a variety of industries on site and remotely, providing technical support as needed. Some of these industries include theme parks, waste water, food and beverage, transportation, retail, and consumer goods. Austin has over two years of experience working in mechanical engineering and over 3 years working in automation and controls engineering. During his career he’s gained experience working full time, contracting, consulting, and interning for multiple Fortune 100 and 500 companies.Austin is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. During Austin’s time in school he was on the Deans list and maintained over a 3.3 GPA in the school of mechanical engineering.
