Recipient of Bachelor of Fine Arts degree Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.Responsible for all aspects of security for the Addison Gallery of American Art, including protection of grounds, collection, and visitors. Develop and maintain security and surveillance systems. Create and implement security procedures, policies, and gallery manuals. Supervise Security and Visitors Services personnel; train and schedule security officers and visitors service employees for weekly coverage and all special events. Design, maintain and manage security systems to protect against fire, theft, and illegal entry. Establish and maintain liaison with the Phillips Academy Public Safety Office, Andover Town Police and Andover Fire Departments. Monitor museum activity during open and non-open hours. Provide seven-day, twenty-four hour on-call response for security systems. Provide on-call assistance and response for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system during off-hours. Retain records of incident reports and facility maintenance forms. Plan and administer annual security department budget. Participate in the Addison Gallery Building and Planning Committee, responsible for implementing a thirty million dollar museum expansion and renovation project. Collaborate with security design firms, architects and engineers to provide direction and guidance with museum security initiatives and operational improvements.
