MY Legend is a very unique superyacht. Operating in the Polar regions, I had the privilege to work in both Antarctica and the Arctic. She was used primarily as a charter yacht, with one private trip a year in the Mediterranean.• General deck maintenance – painting, varnishing, fairing, washing down, scrubbing teak, inflatable repairs and greasing• Tender driving – 5.5m Milpro zodiac, 8.5m Rafnar and 11.6m Targe (chase boat), all in challenging conditions• Shipboard operations – anchoring, mooring, helicopter, submarine and crane driving (15t free-moving tender crane and 10t submarine crane)• Extensive yard experience• Bridge watch, as lookout• Worked as part of a 10-person deck team• Acted as first mate on chase boat when required
