As a planner, my work will have a major effect on people’s lives and I strive to have a positive effect on people’s lives, but also have a positive impact on the environment. I feel like a planner it is our responsibility to improve not only cities but the environment as well, and in doing so we can improve the life of the people that live in them. I am currently studying city and regional planning at The Ohio State University. I have been studying city planning since the fall of 2019, and I plan on graduating in December 2022. I am seeking internships where I can use my skills and experiences to help in sustainability efforts in urban areas.In my time studying at Ohio State University, I have gained many skills in ArcGis, Sketchup, collaboration, and community engagement. These skills proved very useful for completing the many projects I have done, and will also be a great tool for when I am in the workforce. My passions are environmentalism, sustainability, and city planning, and these passions drive me to want to make urban areas more environmentally friendly place.
