I am a maintenance professional with over 20 years experience in the paper and petro-chemical industries, and have developed and managed predictive maintenance, condition based maintenance and planned maintenance programs in the US, Canada, Germany and Belgium. My experience includes converting paper based maintenance work order systems to ASW, Marcam, Shaware, and SAP. I was highly respected among my peers, and was instrumental in encouraging others to improve their programs. I was among the first to introduce predictive technologies including thermography, vibration trending and analysis, and motor condition evaluation within my former employer’s sites as part of the overall improvement effort. I have worked with purchasing, stores and vendors to consolidate and standardize lubricants used at the plant site, reducing inventories of lubricants and developing programs that reduce lubrication errors. Highly motivated and focused, I was the driving force that encouraged others to gain certifications in vibration analysis, thermography and NDT methods such as UT, MT and PT and to continuously work towards improving their skills My commitment to continuous improvement of maintenance reliability was a significant contribution to the effort to attain ISO 9000/9001 certification at my former employer’s site.
