As the CEO of the Special Operators Transition Foundation (SOTF), I am proud to lead a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Special Operations veterans transition from military service into successful civilian careers. With a deep commitment to philanthropy, I’ve dedicated my post military career to ensuring our veterans have the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive.Prior to my current role, I served as Director of Programs for SOTF, overseeing all aspects of the Fellow experience. I bring over 20 years of leadership experience to these positions, having founded two nonprofit organizations and two for-profit businesses in the consulting and financial services industries. My entrepreneurial journey is driven by a passion for both service and innovation.I retired from the military after 25 years of service as a Special Operations Pilot and Combat Aviation Advisor. Throughout my military career, I held numerous leadership positions and earned several prestigious awards, including the Lance P. Sijan Award for exceptional leadership, JINSA’s Grateful Nation Award for superior conduct in the War on Terrorism, and the AETC Well Done Award for exceptional airmanship. As a Command Pilot with over 4,250 flight hours, I retired as a Colonel, having enlisted in 1997 and commissioned in 2001.I have an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and a graduate degree from Trident University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I was honored as the Outstanding Graduate of the Air War College and additionally graduated from the Joint and Combined Warfighting School.I am passionate about the outdoors and endurance sports, constantly seeking challenges that push my limits. I also cherish time with my wife and children, striving to balance my career with my love for family and adventure.
