Program/Project Manager - Route Managment
I plan/manage 8-16 locations every day using routing software to accomplish dynamic routing for hundreds of routes and thousands of customers. Currently responsible for the northern half of California's routes to include Oakland/San Fransisco, Sacramento, San Jose, Fresno, a handful of smaller cities, and Seattle Washington. I have trained a few personnel on how to use the program. My team has 22 members using Roadnet and Itrack to accomplish route management for over 200 branches across the US. We each work with around 24-40 managers across our branches Our team is currently working to bring Brinks to the future of routing following the footsteps of Amazon and others.Functions I provide: RoutingCutting costs via miles travelled and hours of operationUpkeeping/ Updating Customer DataResearching customer gaps in serviceCoordinating with operations management at the cities providing services
Project Manager / Transportation Operations Manager (Distribution Platoon Leader)
I lead a team equipped with 20 Vehicles to provide transportation as well as provide fuel, ammunition, water, and food to industrial customers. I also facilitate weekly logistics related training for the Soldiers while mentoring junior leaders into becoming effective planners and managers."Most effective team to provide support to industrial customers at the National Training Center." We led support at an unparalleled level to a point where we were asked to double our customers. We effectively and efficiently provided 24 hour on site support with our small team on dangerous terrain in day or night with no visibility due to night "lights out" operations. The support we provided entailed fueling up assets at each customer's area of operations. Each time we provided support we came to 3-4 locations (different from the last set) to dispense fuel, ammo, food, Ice, water, and waste services. Over the course of 2 weeks we dispensed over 18,000 gallons, 100,000 rounds to include large 120MM tank and mortar rounds, as well as nearly 10,000 meals.
Project Manager / Large Scale Transportation Operations Manager (Hybrid Truck Platoon Leader)
"Perfered Platoon Leader for High visibility missions"I led a platoon that went up to 70 soldiers, 6 NCOs (managers), 54 trucks and trailers We ran convoys up to 25 Vehicles with trailers through Korea on average 2-3 times a week in support of the entire US Army in Korea (thousands of Soldiers) and sometimes other US military branches.Quarantine Operations Battle Captain(Quarantine Operations Manager)I was one of 3 put in charge of running the quarantine building operations for 2 months over Humphreys, Korea. I managed 9 buildings and a capacity of 6,000 Soldiers at one time. Missions included: Moving all of the temporary units' equipment in and out of korea; Transporting equipment accross Korea for joint exercises with the Korean military; supporting movement of troops and Ammo for Marines conducting a field training exercise; and many more missions working closely with Korean Generals and other branches of the military. My platoon Supported movements in and around the Korea Combat Training Center so well that we were asked for by name to support a second time at the Brigade level.Ammo Accountability Officer for a 270 Soldier company.I scheduled pickups, turn ins, ordered ammo, and ensured that ammunition was handled appropriately without running into legal issues.I was selected to bring up the Ammo program to standard. I enacted accountability procedures to better keep track and organize our ammunition.
Server/ Bartender
I really wanted to learn the skills a well organized professional environment looked like so I left my job as a Manager and became a bartender and obtained a wealth of professional and people skills. This job really made me learn quite a bit about how good leaders turn a chaotic industry into a well organized symphony of workers working to create a professional experience for customers.
