Life Coach
CurrentI coach fellow Baby Boomers to increase life satisfaction and fulfillment by adopting the consciousness of Savvy Elderhood. Our perceptions and priorities begin to shift at some point in middle age (between 45 and 64). The defining question shifts from who will I be when I grow up? To where do I go from here? Our concerns about health, finances, relationships, and self-expression take on a new significance. We have reached the stage where we can benefit from extracting wisdom from our life experiences. Our knowledge about how life works is more experiential than theoretical. We tended to judge people, events, and circumstances as either good or bad in the past. Now we are more discerning of shades of grey, and we are more aware of the nuances of meaning we discover everywhere in our lives. This backdrop of several decades of life experience and tolerance for "complicated" is the ground floor for the conscious mindset that I call Savvy Elderhood. The assumptions that make up this mindset are:Each of us, at the core, has a unique, magnificent spirit that is responsible for us showing up as our best. Savvy Elderhood connects with this Core of Magnificence and uses it to make better choices concerning our health, better strategies regarding our finances, and better communications regarding our relationships. Savvy Elderhood enables us to tap into this internal guidance system. The more we follow the guidance, the more authentically we experience and express the magnificence of who we are. In a matter of weeks, we begin to enjoy better health, improved finances, and closer relationships.
