I am currently a Design Engineer TDP at Cameron Surface Systems, an SLB company. While I've always enjoyed, been fascinated by, and - frankly - excelled at science and math, the main reason I am an engineer is my passion for problem solving and the innovation that follows it. Since I was young I have endlessly found various items to take apart, learn how they work, and put back together (unfortunately ending the lives of many, many pens throughout my education). In a similar vein, I have an intense hunger to learn and get better at everything I do, and desire to be the best at many of my skills.I am still growing in my skills and abilities as it relates directly to engineering, and I am very interested in gaining more hands-on experience in any way I can. Thus far in my engineering career, I have amassed useful skills including: programming in Excel VBA, Python, and MatLab, 3D modeling using AutoDesk Inventor, Solidworks, Abaqus, and CATIA v5, and some experience in Stress Analysis using the PATRAN/NASTRAN suite and Ansys. I am eager to learn how to operate other engineering software and continue to refine my current skills!
