Project Manager - Sustainability ServicesHelp communities stay livable while reducing their impact on the natural environment by supporting projects focusing on sustainable land planning, clean energy, and community resilience.- Partner with stakeholders in climate-related policy and programs work in Georgia cities. Co-develop legislative, regulatory, and local government strategies.- Lead work for municipalities to systematically manage energy use to decrease overall consumption and accumulate cost savings. Strategies implemented include 100% Clean Energy Plan development, fleet enhancements, and building energy audits.- Develop Sustainability Plans for cities that include strategies to achieve sustainability certifications such as LEED, EarthCraft, ARC Green Communities, BBC, BIT, and stormwater upgrades.- Conduct analyses of municipal zoning and development regulations with regard to sustainability issues. Provide recommendations for code updates.- Lead projects surrounding workforce training and energy / water upgrades in disinvested communities.- Co-chair the Green Infrastructure Partnering and Outreach committee with the City of Atlanta and stakeholders. - Co-develop and -lead Atlanta CREW, a training and workforce development program to alleviate localized flooding and displacement through creative placemaking stormwater installations in the community. - Research, apply for, and manage program funding opportunities.
