Experienced project team leader focused on developing and producing research to inform public policy and support the Bureau's rulemaking priorities using qualitative and quantitative data at the national level. Research experience includes many forms of consumer finance, including credit card lending, credit reporting, banking and deposits, fintech and payments, and student lending.

Developed and implemented annual budgeting, procurement, and staffing plans for a team of 50 SMEs and financial analysts. Managed hiring process for entry, mid-level, and senior positions. Served as strategic advisor to executive leadership team, and mentor to staff. Managed external stakeholder relationships for key project areas.

Conducted academic research, authored public-facing consumer education content, and informed Bureau policy in the Students and Young Consumers Section. I focused on banking inclusion and college affordability and access.

In this role, I developed and led business skills training courses for aspiring entrepreneurs, connecting successful graduates with microfinancing. With the support of local partners, we launched a farm-to-table food co-op to market and sell locally-sourced food products from 25 woman-owned small businesses in Kaolack, Senegal. I also served as a regional team leader and helped launch the country's first monitoring and evaluations policy development committee.

Worked with leading academic experts in complex litigations, SEC investigations, and internal audits to provide financial and economic analyses for Fortune 500 companies and Tier 1 law firms.
