Throughout the different jobs and industries that I have worked, I have worked to optimize the way that my job is done, both seeking higher quality of results as well as more efficient methods by which to complete tasks. When I was a teacher, I helped create school wide standardized curriculum that would provide a framework for the other teachers to ensure that not only were they not having to start from the ground up but they would also have a strong core that met the essential guidelines that the school adhered to. In shifting to operations management, I have created new methods for handling processes and worked to streamline workflows to eliminate duplication of labor and resources as well as to expedite through put.
