On a team within the DHQP (Dir. Healthcare Quality Promotion) at CDC, our responsibilities primarily surround the support and analysis of data input into NHSN (National Healthcare Safety Network), alongside coordination with various groups such as CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) and Hospitals throughout the U.S. Currently at the CDC, I am specifically constructing data products with regards to NHSN COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) Dialysis data; products for weekly distribution amongst various state/US public health agencies, including the COVID Task Force. Tools utilized (in order of daily use): SAS, R, PowerBI, Excel, and Python

Primarily responsible for the development of novel bandwidth valuation methodology and pricing schemes, alongside general economic forecasting. In addition, other accomplishments and responsibilities have included the development of incentivization algorithms for broad geographic distribution within a network.

Provided assistance to Dr. Zhen and his research by utilizing my GIS analysis and statisticalprogramming skills, alongside broad-spectrum data management and manipulation exercises.Duties included the following:● Calculation of geographical midpoint (centroid) of varying cities and towns in thecontiguous United States and Canada based upon designated-area boundaries,pursuant to use in consumer economic research.● Formulation of R script to automate the manipulation of data to fit standards describedby Dr. Zhen, to be applied for use in large datasets (100,000+ units of data).● Created a Python script to automate a specific (pertinent to on-going research) distance calculation for a very large set of geographic and consumer data (resulting in 65 million+ units of data).

Classes that I have taken that form the foundation of my economic and mathematical knowledge consist of the following: Applied Microeconomic Theory, Applied Econometrics, Advanced Statistical Methods, Calculus for Engineering, Calculus II for Economics, Water Resource Economics, and Environmental Law & Government Regulation.

Performed laboratory research on the efficacy of entomopathogenic fungi as a biocontrol agent for use on tree nuts and fruits native to the southeastern region of the United States. Due to the specific nature of this project, this research also ranged into topics such as entomopathogenic nematode infiltration rate in differing soil profiles and the impact of aeration on the mobility of nematodes.

Assisted in the development and subsequent maintenance of a granular, proprietary cloud-based DDoS mitigation platform. Alongside this, my duties ranged from data collection and analysis to sales lead development.

Assigned responsibility for handling of constituent phone calls and the categorization ofconstituent requests. Alongside these duties, attended meetings with local leaders andconstituent groups across Macon on behalf of the Congressman.Gained professional experience via serving as a representative of the Congressman and his staff to constituents present at the meetings.
