I am a graduate of Physics with a desire to begin and succeed in a new career. I have a great understanding of the role that science and technology plays in meeting corporate revenue goals and creating value for shareholders and have many of the skills necessary for achieving this. I have great scientific and mathematical problem solving skills. Highly adaptive to new environments, and work well with others. Examples of my computer science skills include Microsoft Word, Excel (expert level), Power Point, PowerBI and Teams. Computer programming skills, such as Java, C/C++, Python, VBA, scientific computing with FORTRAN 77/90, as well as minimal to moderate knowledge of machine learning and AI.I have shown leadership and management skills when leading a research team at Northwest Missouri State University and teaching a physics lab course. More recently, I have 4 years management experience as a production floor manager for Deluxe Corporation that includes directing production work flow, auditing and improving process, administration of employees time and pay, performing quarterly and yearly focal point reviews for employees, creating a safe and respectful work environment, creating accountability and recognizing employee accomplishments, as well as various HR responsibilities.
