Racking in 6 digits in ARR for the company and led pivot efforts into manufacturing, logistics and delivery as the global pandemic loomed in and affected our home industry — the F&Bs. This jam-packed experience exposed me to key gaps within the industry and with these insights, decided to start my own adventure! -
Business Development, Inside SalesWorkstream Jul 2018 - Aug 2019San Francisco, California, UsWorkstream is an end to end hiring software for hourly workers. We work with local businesses to help them hire faster, and smarter — sourcing, screening and on-boarding new employees in days! I was the first sales hire at Workstream and built the initial outbound playbook with our CEO. Then used that playbook to close 6-figures of ARR for the company. Also led expansion efforts into new verticals into like hotels, delivery, cinemas and into new states like New Orleans, Portland, Texas and LA via inside sales. One word to wrap up my year with Workstream would be: eye-opening :) -

I focused on building a conducive environment for my teammates to empathise and learn from one another, so that we can work efficiently as a team, under pressure.We were a determined bunch and were always put out of our comfort zones- I completed the notorious Commando Small Unit Leaders Course (CSLC), completed 6 combat military parachute descend, marched 72 KM to earn the coveted red beret and as a team, we eventually attained the 2015 SAF Best Combat Unit award. -
