As a freshman at Texas A&M University, I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge and experiences by taking on new challenges. Whether it’s through hands-on volunteering with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department- where I get to actively participate in the conservation of wildlife and the environment- or working with my family-owned business, Flyin F5 Woodworks, where I harvest, split, stack, and deliver species specific firewood, I am constantly working to build a diverse skillset. I addition to my current positions, my experience as a barista at Bites & Brew provided me with vital communication skills, allowing me to engage with a wide variety of customers, make quick assessments of their preferences, and offer personalized recommendations for food and drinks. This role enhanced my ability to handle high-pressure situations, prioritize tasks, and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor. These experiences have helped me build a strong work ethic and taught me the importance of dedication, patience, and adaptability in a personal and professional environment.
