In preparation to become a U.S. Sailor, I spent my time training physically and mentally. I prepared myself to follow detail oriented instructions, as well as physically enable myself to push further. In basic training recruits learn to work as a large team and share small quarters with around 80 others. Cleanliness is a must, along with good communication.
