I am Ava Lynch, an honors student at SUNY Oswego majoring in Marketing and minoring in Sales, with an expected graduation in Fall 2025. I am highly determined, creative, and passionate about marketing—especially in areas that inspire joy and imagination. My dream is to run digital marketing campaigns for a toy company, blending my love of creativity with strategic marketing expertise.This semester, I served as the President of the American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter at SUNY Oswego, where I led efforts to re-establish the club and create a chapter plan. Our team successfully hosted a marketing trivia night to engage members and foster a sense of community. We have big plans for next semester, which I am very excited for including collaborations, guest speakers, and resume workshops.In addition, I served as Sisterhood Chair and Formal Party Planning Chair for my sorority, Kappa Delta Phi NAS. In these roles, I organized events to strengthen member bonds and successfully planned and executed our formal, handling everything from booking the venue to decorations and logistics. I plan to run for these positions again, as I enjoy fostering community and taking on leadership challenges. I have also held roles as Fundraising Chair and Diversity Chair, where I secured partnerships with local businesses and organized engaging educational events.Beyond my leadership roles, I have practical experience in digital marketing. I completed training in Salesforce, earned certifications in Google Ads and Adobe Photoshop, and worked on projects involving Shopify, Canva, and Sprout Social. During a virtual internship with Cannon Publishing, I contributed to campaign planning, analyzed Amazon Ads, and represented the company at a national convention.I am passionate about learning—whether through classes, collaborating with peers, or hands-on experiences.
