I've had multiple experiences with the NAM in the past, and decided to do my thesis for the bachelor Industrial Engineering and Management there as well. The thesis' subject was doing a thorough data analysis on primary failing parts within machines that compress gas. Before starting the thesis, I worked at the NAM as assistent Rotating Equipment engineer.

Being a crew trainer not only means to teach trainees all procedures and how to properly dress sandwiches, it also means you have a comprehensive understanding of all processes and (hygienic) rules. It is expected that a crew trainer can ensure a smooth working kitchen and also ensure a safe and hygienic working environment. Being crew trainer often means having responsibility for any production errors and unhygienic actions of the (regular) crew. Though not responsible in the very end, the crew trainer is expected to have the insight and skill to prevent or intervene when such actions should occur.

Worked as intern as part of the Industrial Engineering and Management bachelor. At GLT-PLUS I worked towards digitalizing the maintenance operations processes. The internship lasted half a year and taught me how to work in a practical field.GLT-PLUS is a consortium of four companies who's main operation activities are maintaining the infrastructure and drilling platforms of NAM Groningen.

Ad Tempus Vitae is a small Student Association in the city of Groningen. Next to many parties, socializing with people, and having an amazing time, I also currently fill the position of Treasurer as Board member of the Association. Being Treasurer means overseeing all financial matters related to the Association. It is a great responsibility having to direct all the money that flows in and out of the Association. Setting up budgets, doing debt collections and trying to balance out money for many activities.Next to being Treasurer, being a Board member also means having ultimate responsibility over the Association together with four other Board members. Meaning you always have to be prepared for unexpected setbacks, managing many committees handling other Association affairs, and many other occasions. Of course as Treasurer, I will always handle the financial business, and sometimes the more general business.

The Overleg Christelijke Studentenverenigingen Groningen (O.C.S.G.) is an establishment of the five Christian student associations in Groningen. It organises multiple events every year and has a new board every year. Its aim is to enhance relations and ensure smooth communications between the five student associations in Groningen. I was the treasurer of the establishment. While also working on the projects as a group, my main task was overseeing the bank account, setting up the budget(s), paying and sending bills, basically all financial matters as one would expect.
