Co-founded and led the conception, design, and development of two mobile apps in the dating space (to be released on the App Store and Google Play Store Q1 2024). Designed and implemented back-end microservice architecture with complex business logic and search. Managed an international team of remote developers, front- and back-end, as well as contributing the majority of production code myself. As a longtime graphic and interaction designer, I have also been responsible for all of the company’s branding, design, the UI/UX design of the software. As co-founder, I have managed all business operations, hiring, and navigated and accomplished all legal and operational requirements involved with starting a new business in the State of New York.

UX/Interaction Design, Web App Design & Development, Interactive Data Visualization.I was the first person hired in the New York office and was responsible for planning, designing, and leading the development of a highly interactive web-based UI for browsing and searching millions of data points in order to construct dashboards of several interactive data visualizations from standard line charts, bar charts, and treemaps to agriculture-centric visualizations like balance sheets and crop calendars, as well as several geospatial visualizations, which involved the creation of a custom designed tileset and lots of detailed GIS work, including symbol maps, multivariate and single-variable choropleth maps, and heat maps/raster data for datasets such as temperature, temperature anomaly, vegetation indices and anomalies, and evapotranspiration and anomalies. I was also in charge of hiring and managing the rest of the design team and starting the development, which had me in the role of product manager for six months as I developed the initial product roadmap and all of the major features, as well as designing the essential architecture to structure the millions of data points available to end-users. I also did the design and development of the original website (which I have since re-designed again more recently), and I was responsible for all other design materials, such as business cards, company presentations, print collateral, t-shirts, event and environmental graphics, a Google Adwords campaign, and dozens of unique infographics and visualizations published with analyst research through the company website.

Designed and developed a web-based application that helps users manage their personal data and customer service interactions, and helps companies stay GDPR compliant and transparent with their users. I was solely responsible for all branding, illustration, UX research, wireframing, design, and front end development. I managed a remote team of developers to build the back end.

Range of services ranging from designing and developing novel web applications and user interfaces to providing UX design consultation and wireframes, to print and environmental graphic design.I have several personal projects in the works, but the most recently completed and successful is my webfont/icon collection, "Hermetica", which consists of 750+ alchemical, mythological, magical, and cultural symbols all rendered in a consistent, beautifully simple style - the Helvetica of arcane symbols. A second, lighter weight version (Hermetica Light) is almost complete as well.
