Volunteer as a docent conducting public walking tours at the historic Union Station in Los Angeles for the Los Angeles Conservancy. Conduct walking tours for children and adults narrating the history of the station and through it the urban history of the city, furthering the efforts of the Conservancy in its advocacy for historic buildings and neighbourhoods.

Mumbai Area, India

Sarmaya is a digital museum with a rich collection broadly divided into numismatics, cartography, etchings and engravings, photography, folk art, and modern and contemporary art. It is a not for profit enterprise driven by the desire to encourage an engagement with Indian art and history. - Worked closely with the Founder to develop the vision statement for the museum, build the annual programming plan, hire candidates and make administrative decisions.- Managed budgets, schedules and shaped the organization's programming strategy of developing immersive and accessible outreach.- Built successful collaborations with diverse partners such as Pratham Education Foundation, Saturday Art Class, Museum Rietberg and TARQ among others, meeting the objective of building dialogue, accessibility and engagement with Sarmaya's diverse collection. - Developed and implemented digital educational initiatives in collaboration with Pratham Education Foundation slated to reach over 60,000 children across three states in 2 languages.- Developed and managed two successful physical exhibitions,’ Echoes of the Land (2022)’ and ‘Shifting Selves: Between Meaning, Mythology and Mirage’ (2021). - Worked closely with the content, research, and technical team to enhance the museum's website and its digital offerings.- Worked on a short film 'Tholu Bommalata: Dance of the Shadow Puppets' on the ancient shadow puppetry art form from southern India. - Invited to speak at conferences like MuseumNext and do short videos on presenting reflections on digital museums.

Worked with the Community Engagement team at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, the placement was a part of my Masters in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester. -Assisted and planned engagement and evaluation of the responses of visitors and non-visitors to an exhibition in the Story Lab space. Story Lab is an innovative gallery in BMAG focused on ways of collaborative curation and interpretation styles exploring a topic through multiple perspectives. - Managed a team of volunteers to conduct this evaluation.-The evaluation done contributed to the documentation and building of a case study by the museum staff towards planning successful, immersive visitor engagement in the gallery.-Awarded the Raymond Singleton prize by the University of Leicester for outstanding student achievement during a work placement.

Bengaluru Area, India

- Conducted oral history interviews and contributed to institutional archival projects for organisations like The Economic and Political Weekly, the Indian Museum (Kolkata) and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (Chennai).- Built the oral history archive and contributed as co-writer on 'The Story of Sasha', an archival book for Sasha, a pioneering craft organization in India.- Curated and led city-based guided walking tours, 'Bangalore Storyscapes' that incorporated oral history interviews done with city residents to talk about the changing urban historical landscape of a neighbourhood. Was awarded a grant by the India Foundation for the Arts (Project 560) to continue the walking tour with a focus on public spaces and popular culture.- Taught students, researchers and scholars the process of conducting oral history interviews at certificate courses and workshops.- The International Oral History Association along with the Oral History Association of India (OHAI) partnered with CPH to conduct the XIX International Oral History (IOHA) conference in Bangalore in June 2016. Served as member of the organising committee of the conference that planned, co-ordinated and oversaw a highly successful event, bringing together 250 participants from 32 countries across the world.

Sri Lanka

-Taught English to lower secondary grade students at an international school in Galle, Sri Lanka for one term.-Built lesson plans to strengthen their english writing and reading skills.-Set up a Young Journalists Club for the students and took them on field trips where they had to interview different people who worked in their town.

New Delhi, Delhi, India

- Worked with SevaYatra on two short term projects.The first project encompassed working with the team on project planning and implementation of a corporate CSR event. Collaborated with the various stakeholders, managed logistics and ensured a smooth, successful event.-During the second project, was tasked with organising a ten week mid term retreat program for a group of students from Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) at a not for profit enterprise in India. The role included research on social enterprises in India, assisting in developing the program plan, coordinating with the host organisation, managing logistics and conducting the orientation program for the students.

New Delhi Area, India

-Scripted and directed a 15 minute short film, 'Red Flags: Interpreting Danger' on safety precautions and red flags teenagers should watch out for with tips on how to stay alert and safe on the internet, in public and at home.-The film was aimed at children in grade 8 and distributed to schools across India.
