My dream goal is to work in film preservation for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. I love preserving our film history because films, newsreels, animation, radio,television programs and photography are a reflection of our past culture and allows us to strive in the present day. I also am a big fan of silent cinema, golden hollywood, french new wave, and experimental cinema. I can spend hours watching these films simply for enjoyment and for the learning experience I get about the past. I love teaching kids and sharing my love of cinema and history to them. I love seeing their proud expressions when they see themselves on the big screen at the end of our three week program and realizing that they can achieve anything as long as they have a positive attitude, are committed, and have teamwork.
