Throughout my time at Olentangy Liberty High School, I was a leader to those around me. I was a student mentor who helped incoming students adjust to high school. In sports, I served as a team captain of my club volleyball teams for three consecutive years. Academically, I was inducted into the National Honor Society and graduated with honors. I began working my first job at a bakery at sixteen and then moved on to a hostessing job and was promoted to a waitressing job shortly thereafter. For a short time, I worked both jobs simultaneously because I loved working and learning new things. These experiences gave me a strong work ethic and I continue to work when I am home from college. Presently, at the University of South Carolina, I am pursuing a double major in Finance and Marketing through the Darla Moore School of Business. I am able to expand on my leadership role in my sorority as a team Captain for the University of South Carolina’s Dance Marathon fundraiser. I am interested in a career that aligns with my academics in college. My goal is to spend my career working in the pharmaceutical or biomedical fields.
