Founder/Executive Director of 501c3 Earth Optimist Club, an organization designed to provide equitable outdoor programming to youth. EOC specializes in providing surf, hiking, climbing, and skiing instruction to youth who may be at a disadvantage in receiving high-cost/high-quality programming either due to economic or environmental factors; with the goal to incentivize successive generations to become stewards of the environment.EOC is running afterschool programming and summer camps in the Town of Westerly RI in partnership with the Mystic Aquarium, United Way, Town of Westerly Recreation, Southern Rhode Island Conservation District, and more. Earth Optimist Club also runs events such as the Celebration of Surf Festival, a surf and music festival with over 600 attendees featuring music acts such as Delicate Steve, sponsorship such as Noah NY, Surfrider Foundation, and more.

Creator/writer/performer of music artist project ‘aedie’. Bio: aedie is an American indie musician from New England. He recently played the Mystic Folkways Festival sharing the lineup with Whitney, Michael Nau, Matt Costa and more, has opened for Josiah Johnson of the Head and the Heart, Jackson Lundy, and often collaborates with contemporaries Trey Kams (Top Dawg Entertainment), and others in the indie folk scene. On his most recent 9000 mile cross country DIY tour, he sold out two one hundred capacity shows in Bozeman MT and Brooklyn NY and summited five of the United States highest mountains (14ers). He is currently in the middle of finishing his debut record with producer Charlie Dahlke of the Brazen Youth (Flipturn, etc) at Ashlawn Studios in Connecticut. An advocate for environmental conservation, aedie cultivates influence for his music through wilderness exploration; car camping, surfing, and climbing mountains during his DIY cross country tours from the Appalachians, to the Rockies, to the California coastline and back.‘aedie’ has garnered over 800k streams across platforms.
